B5 Aluminum Core Support

An aluminum core support to replace the OEM fiber-plastic unit. This offers more ridigty and flexibility for mounting auxillary or aftermarket components, offers more room for service work under the hood, and drastically improves the appearance of your build.

The base unit is laser cut from 5052 aluminum and CNC machined from 6061 aluminum. All of the forming is done with CNC equipment and it is TIG welded. It comes with interchangeable lower radiator mounts that fit B5 A4 and S4 radiators, and can be replaced with mounts to fit other radiators or move the radiator to a alternative location. The upper radiator mounts are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and are also interchangeable, with options to move the radiator to alternative locations built into them. The base unit has extra clearance to fit aftermarket side mount intercoolers. It comes with hardware to attach the components where the OEM hardware does not suffice, all other bolted connections should be made using the OEM hardware.

The snub mount bracket is laser cut and saw cut from 304 stainless steel, and tig welded. It fits both the 1.8t and the 2.7t, It comes with hardware to attach it to the core support.

The 1.8t snub mount stub is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and comes with the bolt to attach it to the snub mount bracket

The hood latch bracket is laser cut and saw cut from 304 stainless steel, the braces are laser cut from 6061 aluminum, and forming is done with CNC equipment. It allows the utilization of the OEM hood latch mechanism while occupying the least amount of space possible to provide room for various engine swaps. It comes with the bracket, braces, and hardware to attach the components where the OEM hardware does not suffice, all other bolted connections should be made using the OEM hardware.
