LY3J (Brilliant Red) B7 S4

I purchased this car to develop parts for the B7 chassis, as a low mile no accident well maintained manual B7 S4, but it turned out to be much more (or less) than that, as I later found out that it was a very poorly maintained, high mileage - last documented at 174,067 in July of 2021 at the Copart auction that the seller's relative purchased the car from - but still straight and running, driving, car.

As I dug deeper into the history of the car, what started out as a misunderstanding developed into the realization that the seller had rolled the odometer back after realizing that the money put into the car to get it roadworthy would not justify the asking price given the miles. This became apparent after matching dates up on the Carfax report with dates of the auto auctions, miles reported on the Carfax report and the auctions, an auto shop local to the seller recognizing the car and the seller, and the mileage of the car when the seller had brough the car in for some work in 2022 and refused to pay the bill.
